The International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) is a global collaborative initiative to promote awareness about childhood cancer and to show support for children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with the disease, as well as survivors and their families. Every year on February 15th, International Children's Day (ICCD) is organised. Childhood Cancer International came up with the idea in 2001, and the first worldwide awareness campaign took place in 2002. What is childhood cancer? Cancer can develop in any part of the body, including the blood and lymphatic systems, the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system), kidneys, and other organs and tissues in children. The majority of the time, the cause of childhood malignancies is unknown.
